Tom came to me with his entire fleet of touring and recording guitars, all of which had not had any work done to them for quite some time and were in need of some TLC! This included a pair of USA Fender Stratocasters, a 1964 Fender Jaguar, a USA Fender Jazzmaster, a Fender Telecaster HH Mahogany, and a pair of Gibson Hummingbird Acoustics

On every single one of his guitars, I did Re-Frets with matching-sized Jescar Fret Wire for a consistent feel, Handmade Bone Nuts, Handmade Intonated Bone Saddles for the Acoustic Guitars, and Electronics Servicing with Pure Tone Jack upgrades for the Electric Guitars, as well as a smattering of other upgrades and modifications which were specific to each guitar, such as upgraded Mastery bridges for the Jaguar and Jazzmaster, and upgraded Gotoh Saddles for the two Stratocasters.

 

I also had the pleasure of joining Tom for a run of shows in  2021 to stand in as his Guitar Tech. This was an incredible experience and it has been a pleasure getting the opportunity to both work on Tom's guitars in the workshop, and work with him on shows.
